Located on a site of deep personal significance to Sheikh Zayed, The Founder's Memorial invites visitors to reconnect with the values that underpin the UAE. Working across the landscape and exhibitions, Barker Langham helped develop a visitor experience that extended the concept of a portrait—combining archival research, personal testimonies, Sheikh Zayed’s own words, and newly produced films featuring those who knew him personally. The result is an experience that is both deeply personal and quietly powerful, honouring Sheikh Zayed’s legacy through a harmonious blend of art, nature and storytelling.
