Rooted in the historic Dubai Creek, Al Shindagha Museum brings the city’s heritage to life through a constellation of restored houses that explore everything from maritime traditions and craftsmanship to governance and daily life. Barker Langham curated six of these thematic pavilions, weaving together narratives that celebrate the city’s cultural richness and its transformation into a global metropolis. Notably, the Saruq Al Hadid Archaeology Museum – housed in a traditional wind tower – showcases discoveries from an Iron Age site, revealing Dubai’s deep archaeological legacy. Through immersive storytelling and strategic interpretation, our work supports a museum experience that connects past and present with clarity and care.
What if together we could solve humanity’s greatest challenges…
